Pregnancy is a wonderful period in which the mother wears out the fetus and gives birth to a new life. This whole process is accompanied by a number of changes in the body. Many women have wondered if they are likely to be pregnant at some point in their lives. Urine and blood tests for pregnancy give a definite answer to this question. There are some signs in the body that betray the onset of pregnancy. Who are they?

Do all women have early signs of pregnancy?

Every woman is completely different. That is why the pregnancy of each one passes in a radically different way. Not all women have the same symptoms, and some may even lack them. In addition, each pregnancy in the same woman can go differently.

Sometimes the early signs of pregnancy can go unnoticed because they can mimic premenstrual syndrome (PMS) or menstrual complaints.

Early signs of pregnancy are symptoms that have occurred or occur monthly to every woman . Therefore, even the presence of some of them does not mean pregnancy until it is confirmed by tests or blood tests.

اعراض الحمل في الاسبوع الاول

Here are some of the first signs of pregnancy in first week

اعراض الحمل في الاسبوع الاول

Vaginal bleeding and cramps. They are familiar to many women because bleeding can resemble the menstrual period, and cramps usually accompany it. Once the egg is fertilized in the fallopian tubes, it is directed to the lining of the uterus (endometrium), which is ready to be a medium for its development. Implantation of the egg in the endometrium may be associated with minor bleeding, called implantation bleeding. It is normal for it to appear between the 6th and 12th day.

Changes in vaginal fluoride. It is normal to have whitish vaginal fluoride during pregnancy, which should not be a cause for concern. It is normal to appear after conception and to continue throughout pregnancy. If its color changes from white to yellowish or otherwise, you should seek medical attentionadvice because it may be a bacterial or fungal infection. Important symptoms that point to infection are burning, itching and redness.

Changes in the chest. At the onset of pregnancy, hormonal changes begin . Levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), prolactin, estrogens, progesterone, oxytocin increase. The breasts respond to these changes as they begin to enlarge. It is also possible to feel tension and become more sensitive to touch. There may be pain. As the pregnancy progresses, the nipples and areolas begin to darken and enlarge.

Fatigue and easy fatigue. They are due to the "guardian of pregnancy" - progesterone. This hormone helps the female body to retain and export the fetus, but also has systemic effects. The feeling of exhaustion and fatigue is due to him. They are most pronounced during the first three months of pregnancy.

Nausea and change in appetite. Nausea and morning sickness are the most common signs of pregnancy, but not every woman has them. They are due to high serum levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). Nausea may persist throughout pregnancy or decrease as it progresses. Changes in appetite are also characteristic of pregnancy. There may be a desire for certain foods or aversion to others.

Missing menstruation. The most common sign that causes women to take a pregnancy test is delayed menstruation. It is normal for menstrual cycles to be absent throughout pregnancy, but in practice there are women in whom this does not happen ("color" pregnancy).

Other signs of pregnancy.Apart from these, there are other signs and changes in the body that are non-specific, but may lead to a possible pregnancy.

  • Frequent urination. It is due to changes in hormone levels and the growth of the uterus, which begins to press on the organs of the urinary system and thus creates the conditions for insufficiently effective elimination of urine. You need to be careful and pay attention to whether there are changes in the color and smell of urine, because frequent urination can be the beginning of an infectious process. Frequent urination usually occurs after the 6th week.
  • Constipation. It is due to progesterone, which reduces bowel movements. It does not occur in all women, but is a common symptom. To deal with it, you can focus on foods that contain more fiber, fruits, vegetables, you can also drink more water and try to get enough exercise.
  • Mood swings. The sharp change in hormone levels also leads to mood swings, which are most pronounced in the first trimester.
  • Low back pain and headache. Again, hormones are related to these symptoms. On the other hand, the enlargement of the abdomen and the growth of the fetus create an additional load on the musculoskeletal system.
  • Dizziness. Hormones lower blood pressure, which impedes a good blood supply to the brain.

Consultation with a doctor and examination are mandatory in case of suspicion of pregnancy. The presence of these symptoms or some of them does not necessarily mean pregnancy, as there may be other reasons for their appearance. The safest way to determine the cause of these symptoms is an examination by an obstetrician-gynecologist and blood tests.
